NASI SARI BERINGIN
1 kg beras beryani/ basmati dicuci bersih lalu direndam 20minit, toskan airnya
5 helai daun pandan , dimasukkan ketika nasi hampir tanak
60 gm santan pekat atau susu cair
1500 ml air
50 gm minyak jagung
50 gm minyak sapi
Bahan tumis:
2 biji bawang besar dihiris nipis
3 inci kulit kayu manis
6 biji buah pelage
3 batang serai dititik
2 helai daun pandan
· Panaskan kedua2 minyak, tumis bawang hiris hingga kuning sedikit
· Masukkan pandan, serai, kayu manis, pelaga, santan dan sedikit air dan tumis hingga wangi baunya.
· Masukkan air, masak hingga mendidih masukkan garam, kacau rata
· Masukkan beras, masak hingga kering dan tanak, masukkan 5 helai pandan diatas tadi.
**optional: letak ketika nasi sudah masak... koma2 direndam dgn 2 sudu makan air mawar atau sedikit warna lemon yellow.
SARI BERINGIN RICE
1 kg beryani rice / basmati rice washed and soaked for 20 minit, drain the water
5 pandan leaves, add when the rice is cooked
60 gm of thick coconut milk or evaporated milk
1 teaspoon salt
1500 ml of water
50 gm of corn oil
50 gm ghee
ingredient for saute:
2 large onion, sliced thin
3-inch cinnamon sticks
6 cardamom seeds
3 stalks lemongrass (crush)
2 screw pine leaves
• Heat oil and ghee, saute the sliced onion until slight golden.
• Add the 2 screw pine leaves, lemon grass, cinnamon, cardamom, coconut milk and a little water and saute until fragrant smell.
• Add water, bring to boil add salt, stir well
• Add rice and cook until dry and cook, add 5 pieces of screw pine leaves.
** optional: add when the rice is cooked ... saffron soaked with 2 tablespoons rose water or lemon yellow color.
