Ingredients: Bahan-nya
250 ml cooking oil / minyak masak
2 tablespoon sugar / 2 sudu makan gula
500 gm prawns / udang
2 tbsp tamarind pulp mixed with 125 ml water, squeezed and juice strain / 2 smkn asam di ramas dgn 125 ml air ditapis ambil airnya
1 cube Anchovy stock / 1 kuib ikan bilis stok
6 tbsp coconut cream, extracted from 1/4 grated coconut / 6 smkn santan diambil dari suku biji kelapa parut.
1 onion slice into ring / 1 biji bawang dipotong bulat
Finely Ground / Dikisar halus
20 dried chillies, boil to soften / 20 lada kering di rebus
10 shallots / 10 bawang merah
1 tbsp dried shrimp paste (powder) / 1 smkn belacan serbuk
Method:
Heat cooking oil and fry groung ingredients until fragrant. add sugar and stir until sugar dissolves and caramalises. Add prawns, tamarind juice, anchovy stock and coconut cream. Season with salt and stir until cooked. Add onion and more water if gravy is too thick. Transfer to a bowl and serve.
