Kali ini kzah nak kongsi nasi Jintan Putih dari chef Wan.. Nasi ini terasa sedikit rempah kerana menggunakan rempah kari dan serbuk jintan putih. Sedap dimakan dgn apa juga lauk yang kita makan dgn beryani.
Nasi Jintan Putih (chef Wan)
Bahan-nya:
4 sudu besar minyak
2 sudu besar minyak sapi
3 helai daun pandan
1.7 liter air
100 ml susu segar ( kzah gunakan susu cair)
900 gm beras basmati dicuci ( kzah rendam dulu 20 minit)
Bahan A;
3 cm kulit kayu manis
1 kuntum bunga lawang
5 bijibuah pelaga
3 tangkai daun kari
Bahan B: dihiris
5 ulas bawang merah
5 ulas bawang putih
3 cm halia
Dijadikan pes:
2 sudu besar serbuk kari
1 sudu besar jintan putih
sedikit air utk bancuh
Perasa:
2 ketul kuib ayam
1sudu teh garam
*Panaskan minyak dalam periok dan tumis A,B, dan daun pandan.
*Masukkan pes dan tumis hingga wangi.
*Masukkan air, susu dan perasa. Biarkan hingga mendidih.
*Masukkan beras dan tutup periok. Biarkan ia masak dlm periok nasi.
Cumin rice (Chef Wan)
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons ghee
3 pandan leaves
1.7 liters of water
100 ml fresh milk (kzah use evaporated milk)
900 gm of washed basmati rice ( i soak it for 20 minutes then washed and drain)
Ingredient A;
3 cm cinnamon
1 star anise flower
5 cardamom
3 stalks curry leaves
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons ghee
3 pandan leaves
1.7 liters of water
100 ml fresh milk (kzah use evaporated milk)
900 gm of washed basmati rice ( i soak it for 20 minutes then washed and drain)
Ingredient A;
3 cm cinnamon

3 stalks curry leaves
Ingredient B: sliced
5 shallots
5 cloves garlic
3 cm ginger
Used as a paste:
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
little water for mixing the powder
seasoning:
2 pieces of chicken kuib
1 tsp garam
* Heat oil fry ingredient A, B, and pandan leaves.
* Add the paste and fry until fragrant.
* Add water, milk and seasonings. Allow it to boil.
* Add rice and cover the pot. Leave to cook rice in rice cooker
