KACANG PHOOL


Here 's another recipe taken from my dusty recipe folder. I've made some adjustment to my taste. I use 3 type of BEANS. Entry is in Malay and English. I'll try my best to translate in English for those who dont understand Malay and want to try this recepi.. if im not mistaken, this recepi is from Arab..sorry i dont know which part of Arab. Correct me if im wrong.

KACANG PHOOL

Bahan-Bahan
1 tin kacang PHOOL MEDAMAS di lecek pecah-pecahkan
1 tin kacang kuda putih di lecet pecah-pecahkan
1 tin bake beans di lecet pecah-pecahkan sikit
1/2 kilo daging cincang

Beberapa biji telur, digoreng mata lembu
2 biji bawang besar, dipotong dadu kecil
3 biji lada hijau, dihiris kasar
3 biji lada merah, dihiris kasar
6 biji limau kasturi, dibelah 2
Sedikit daun ketumbar dan daun pudina (optional) taruk lagi bagus

Garam secukup rasa
Minyak utk menumis + sedikit minyak sapi (optional)

BAHAN KISAR
20 biji lada kering atau 3-4 smkn lada yg sudah kisar
20 biji bawang merah atau 3 biji bawang besar
5 biji bawang putih
2 sudu mkn rempah beriani
Sedikit halia

**bagi yg tiada rempah beriani boleh lah gunakan
1 smkn serbuk ketumbar
1 steh serbuk jintan manis
1 steh serbuk jintan putih

Cara Cara
Tumis bahan kisar sehingga garing dan wangi. Masukkan daging dan sedikit air. Masukkan semua kekacang dan gaul rata. Biarkan mendidih sehingga dagingnya empuk dan pekat sedikit. Masukkan garam beserta daun ketumbar dan pudina. Rasa, jika ada yang kurang, tambah.

CARA MENGHIDANG
Tuang kacang Phool kedalam mangkuk. Hias dengan telur mata lembu, bawang dadu, lada hiris dan limau kasturi. Enak dilawankan dengan roti Perancis.


Kacang Phool

1 can of MEDAMAS bean.press with fork to break
1 can of chickpeas press with fork to breaks, split
1 tin of bake beans press with fork
1 / 2 kg mince beef

Fried Egg
2 large onion, diced small
3 pieces of green chilli
3 pieces of red chilli
6 small lime, cut 2
coriander leaves and mint leaves (optional)

Salt to taste
Oil for sauteing + little ghee (optional)

ground items
20 pieces of dried chilli or 3-4 tbsp already ground dried chilli
20 red onion or 3 large onion
5 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons spice briyani
A little ginger

** for those without beryani spice, you may replace it with:
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp anise powder
1 tsp cumin powder

method:
Fry until crisp and fragrant ground ingredient. add the meat and some water. Put all the beans and mix well. Let it boil until the meat is tender and slightly thick. Add salt and mint with coriander leaves. add seasoning and salt to taste.

How to serve:
Pour cook beans into a bowl. Garnish with an egg, diced onion, chilli, small lime. Nice to eat with bread.
